Hello and thanks for stopping by! My name is Olga Wagner, I’m a filmmaker based in NYC, originally from Moldova. If you don’t know what and where Moldova is, I highly recommend watching my short comedy “Where is Boldova?” In the span of 5 short minutes, you’ll learn so much about this mysterious place and hopefully, it will make you smile too.
I studied filmmaking at Tom Hanks Motion Picture Center at Wright State University where I developed my love for storytelling into practical skills of camera work, editing and producing. I am now working in the TV/video production business in New York, as a freelance Camera Operator/Camera Assistant/Drone Operator and producer. I’m a member of a local International Cinematographer’s guild ICG 600.
In July 2022 I took part in AFI Cinematography Intensive for Women. It was an incredible opportunity to learn from the best of the craft and meet amazing women in the industry.
2022 was a year of war, sadness and loss for my people and my family. When I was dying inside from reading the news every day, my work was what kept me going. Despite all the darkness, 2022 ended up being a year of professional growth for me. I got to shoot sharks in the ocean, get seasick in the middle of the Caribbean, film on a busy beach in Miami, film Tracy Morgan’s pet sharks, film Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Elmo from Sesame Street, film fabulous designer Christian Siriano and interview Jennie Garth (Beverly Hills fan), fly my drone in 100-degree weather in the Everglades, work on a J. Belvin’s 2D/3D concert for Meta among other great things. If you were a part of my adventure last ear, thank you. I you don’t know me yet and thinking of hiring me – hi, let’s make some movie magic together!
Cheers to a delightful, prosperous and productive 2023!
Glory to Ukraine!
